Job Application
This assignment is for you to completely fill out a typical job application. It is important that you do this in black ink or on the computer. Watch for spelling and typographical errors. The application should be neat and clean, and all spaces should be filled - even if it is with an "NA" for Not Applicable. When you are finished, upload the file via the assignment submission on the Home page. I will review it and let you know if you need to make any changes before you print and sign your application.

Interview
The next step is for you to prepare for an interview. When interviewing, it is important for you to know something about the company. It is also important that you actively listen to the interviewer, take some notes, and come up with some relevant questions to ask at the end of the interview. The first interview is usually NOT the time to discuss salary or wages, but asking questions about typical duties, shifts, etc. is acceptable.
The file below contains several examples of typical questions asked in an interview. Take some time to reflect about the question and what the interviewer may really be trying to learn about you, before you respond to the question. For example, if the interviewer asks about your career goal s/he is looking for two things - 1) that you have thought about your long-term career goals, and 2) if those goals match the goals of the company.
Upload a copy of your answers to me, and print a copy for you to study, re-work, and use during your interview tomorrow. (Don't read directly from your questions, but you can have them handy for notes and key words you want to emphasize.)
